North Wales Photographic Association

NWPA brings together the 17 camera clubs of North Wales. Formed in 1981, it is one of the fifteen federations that make up the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain.

The Association runs inter-club competitions, publishes a monthly newsletter, maintains a directory of judges and lecturers, and advises member clubs on insurance.

Each club sends a delegate to the Executive Committee, which meets four times a year alongside the Association's officers and organisers. Your delegate is the person to speak to first: they raise your club's concerns, seek advice on its behalf, and bring information back.

Through the PAGB, members are eligible to apply for Awards for Photographic Merit. Adjudications are held twice a year at three levels — Credit, Distinction and Master. Members may also gain distinctions with the Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP).
